    Title: Freelance Coach
    Department: Fitness
    Responsible To: Director(s)

    Hours – Part Time
    Tuesday & Thursday Evenings 5-9pm
    Possibly  Saturday afternoons and any Holiday and sickness cover

    ABOUT TOTAL CARE PERSONAL TRAINING

Everyone needs to be motivated and we at TCPT want to help people get back on their feet and discover something new.

    Purpose
    To provide fitness, nutrition and lifestyle coaching to assigned clients to ensure their safety and help facilitate clients towards their planned goals.  The role demands you to be capable of getting clients to reach their goals.  This will include thinking outside the box and connecting with clients outside of training sessions. It is essential that your clients are making progress towards their goals and promoting the work carried out by TCPT.

    MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

    • To maintain a professional, business-like approach when representing TCPT with both students and potential clients, ensuring the reputation of TCPT is maintained and enhanced at all times.
    • To follow our strict guidelines on techniques used in all of our programmes.
    • To maintain and develop knowledge and skills relevant for the position of Freelance Coach.

    Coaching

    • Coach clients through their specific workout making notes on progress
      and client issues
    • To ensure that all guests and students of the Studio are greeted and directed appropriately.
    • To troubleshoot problems as required.
    • Work and coach clients throughout there time here, ensuring they are making progress towards their fitness goals.
    • Understand the foundational health principles and be able to coach each aspect
    • Have clients workouts prepared, with worksheets
    • Discuss clients activates since last workout / meeting
    • Complete client training worksheet
    • Write any notes for other trainers on each worksheet
    • Review clients training progress each week with lead trainer
    • Attend all meetings when required
    • To communicate any Office & Studio Housekeeping requirements.
    • To promptly make reports to the Director in connection with any matter that may have an ongoing effect on the Studio or Clients.
    • Any other duties as identified by the Directors.

    Admin

    • Maintenance of accurate records and clients data (papers and electronic correspondence).
    • Communicating and relaying information to both coaches and Studio Assistant
    • Keeping up to date with Client records and important information that helps improve our service.


    PERSON SPECIFICATION
    The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

    Essential Requirements

    • Educated to degree level and / or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Personal Training role
    • Level 3 or above Personal Training qualification, REPS certified.
    • Excellent organisational skills with acute attention to detail.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills including proven experience of influencing individuals and decision makers at all levels.
    • Exceptional verbal communication skills.
    • Proven experience of supporting the delivery training programmes
    • The ability to forward plan alongside being able to react to situations quickly and effectively.
    • A track record for meeting and exceeding goals within strict time frames in a pressurised environment. Proactive approach to day to day issues.
    • The ability to generate ideas, challenge the status quo whilst considering organisational limitations.
    • A fun, and dynamic personality

    Beneficial non essential requirements

    • Knowledge in InfusionSoft and Zenplanner would be advantageous, however, full training will be supplied.

    TRAINING REQUIRED:
    Full training on all our programmes and how we work will be provided.

    Department: Administration
    Responsible To: Director(s)
    Hours – Part Time
    Monday,Tuesday,Thursday & Friday – 2 hours (From home)
    Wednesday – 4 hours (at the Studio)

    Purpose
    The Studio Assistant will assist the Studio in the day to day management of administration to internal and external stakeholders, and promoting the work carried out by TCPT.

    MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY, ADMIN, SALES AND MARKETING.

    • To provide administrative and PA support to the Directors including:
    • To maintain a professional, business-like approach when representing TCPT with both students and potential clients, ensuring the reputation of TCPT is maintained and enhanced at all times.
    • To maintain and develop knowledge and skills relevant for the position of Studio Assistant.Admin
    • Filtering of general information, queries, emails, telephone calls and invitations.
    • Maintenance of accurate records and clients data (papers and electronic correspondence).
    • To ensure that all guests and students of the Studio are greeted and directed appropriately.
    • To troubleshoot problems as required.
    • To manage external communications with clients & suppliers (billings, failure to pay, missed sessions)
    • To coordinate any Office & Studio Housekeeping requirements.
    • Keep on top of automated customer service tasks (birthday, thank you cards, emails, calls)
    • To utilise, maintain, contribute and develop systems currently utilised by TCPT.
    • To work in conjunction with the Directors to ensure all aspects of communications are consistently and accurately disseminated to potential clients, implementing best practice methods.
    • To provide cover, guidance and advice to the Directors to ensure a consistent and timely response to students and potential clients.
    • To promptly make reports to the Director in connection with any matter that may have an ongoing effect on the Studio or Clients.
    • Any other duties as identified by the Directors.
      Sales
    • Pre Qualifying Clients (Calls)
    • Processing new leads (email, mailing, phone calls, facebook, Infusionsoft)
    • Booking client consultations and first 1-1 sessions
    • Entering new clients into all systems
      Marketing
    • Update facebook, and social media / social networking
    • Web site management
    • Help Directors with monthly marketing / Execute marketing as required

    PERSON SPECIFICATION

    • Advanced knowledge and experience of all Microsoft Office packages (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint), Google
    • Drive and Apple Mac programs and social media.
    • Have an understanding or knowledge of Xero & GoCardless.
    • The ability to generate ideas, challenge the status quo whilst considering organisational limitations.
    • The ability to create, manage and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

    Beneficial non essential requirements

    • An understanding of the Personal Training industry.
